tumblrbot asked: WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?

Europe. I would definitely like to go backpacking all over Europe: Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, and more. I’ve always been fascinated with the history of those countries as well as the art. The Renaissance Period would have to be the most interesting period when it comes to art. Some of the greatest structures and artists came out of that period. Wow! To be alive during that period would be amazing.

I could not resist sharing this defition of mom jeans with everyone. Enjoy!

mom jeans: jeans highlighting the flat curvature of the 40+ buttocks. Similies: upside-down-heart shaped-butt. Commonly seen accompained with front butt. Extremely high waist, and always a crappy shade of blue or black. Usually found in Kohl’s or Mervyn’s.

SO true! Stop the madness! I think they’re found at Ross too. Ewww…come up with better jeans already. And YES!! I found a picture. Hehe.

Word of the day

This is awesome. Of course, not original in my part; however, it is from urbandictionary.com.

Word of the Day: elf-esteem

The feeling of being overworked, underappreciated and like you don’t exist to others during the holidays while in actuality the season’s success depends on you.

The sense of being 3 feet small when others would view you in high stature if they realized all you do to make the holidays happen.

I think Hermey is having some elf-esteem issues. He’s pulling the stuffing out of all the teddy bears.Maybe I should come up with my own “words” of the day. What do you think?

Headed to the hospital for work in the freezing cold. Mother Nature won’t make up her mind. HOT or COLD. Just like a menopausal woman.

I guess my first post should be something profound. Blah! I just can’t think of anything to say, so I’m going to let Margaret Young say it and then I’ll put in my two cents. Yay! My life in a nutshell. Posh!

“Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.” - Margaret Young

Very, very true. I don’t know who the hell this woman is, but damn she’s smart. Actually, it’s common sense if what you’ve worked so hard for is in good nature. I believe in karma and getting what’s coming to you, and all that jazz. But with that said, I also believe that we’ll also be rewarded things our hearts desire if we truly deserve those things; however, it takes a good heart for one to earn the good things in life. That’s my philosophy.

So, don’t let a “special time of year” force you to do things for others that truly need it. Do it year-round. Giving your time, smiling at a stranger, or opening the door for something may seem small to you, but those things could come back to you ten fold. It’s in the bible.. it’s gotta be true, right? Hehe. That’s for you to decide. No preaching goin’ on here.

I’m out. Talk to yaz next time.

Any transition serious enough to alter your definition of self will require not just small adjustments in your way of living and thinking but a full-on metamorphosis.
